KnotTiles are the knot-puzzle. By clicking
on any dark square, you can open it. After that, by every next
click you can choose the basic element (prototile) and its position.
The goal of the game is to create one or more knots, linked or
not, in order to completely cover the chosen area. For the game,
you can create your own rules: you can open all fields, or just
some of them, you can cover them by a single knot, or by more
of them... You can start from the 3x3 or
4x4 large square, and then play. You can
read more about the knots you obtain in my paper Modularity
in Art, Mirror
Curves and in the paper On
Lunda Designs and some of their Symmetries by P.Gerdes.
