Whenever the dimension drops by 1, the rank drops by at most Z.

For brevity, we drop the subscript t on h_{t}.

When there is no ambiguity we drop the dependence on B and write just Y_{T} for Y_{T,B}.

We show that one can drop an important hypothesis of the saddle point
theorem without affecting the result.

Note that we can drop the factor of 1/2 by Lemma 3.

This term drops out when f is differentiated.
