In the present paper, the concepts of -closed sub-spaces, locally -closed spaces have been introduced and characterized. We have seen that local -closedness is a semi-regular property; the concept of --closed mapping has been introduced here and the following important properties are established:-
Let be an --closed surjection with -set (Maio and Noiri ) point inverses. Then:
(a) If is completely continuous (Arya and Gupta ) and is locally compact -space, then, is locally -closed.
(b) If is -continuous (Ganguly and Basu ) and is a locally compact -space, then, is locally -closed.
