On the Behavior of Solutions of Linear Neutral Integrodifferential Equations with Unbounded Delay

A useful inequality for solutions of linear neutral integrodifferential equations with unbounded delay is established, using a real root of the corresponding characteristic equation. This inequality is used to obtain an estimate for solutions, which leads to a stability criterion.
